RULES FOR ABSENCE

  • If a pupil remains absent from the school, he/she shall produce an explanatory note from the guardian on the next day he/she attends the class indicating the reason for his/her absence.
  • Pupils who have been absent themselves from the class for more than fifteen (15) days without permission, are liable to be struck off the roll and may not be re-admitted. If re-admitted they will have to pay the entrance fee again.
  • If the leave of absence is for more than three days the guardian shall write to the principal about it in advance. Absence or account of illness should be supported by a medical certificate. No leave absence will be granted except for genuine reason.
  • It is advisable not to send a pupil suffering from infectious or contagious disease to School. A Medical Certificate showing that the pupil is free from infection should be produced when he/she rejoins the school after such illness
  • Irregular attendance unjustified or unexplained absences for more than seven days, habitual illness, disobedience or objectionable influence justifies dismissal.
  • lf for any reason a guardian desires that his/her child return from the School before the Scheduled time, he/she shall send With him/her a note to the effect indicating the reason. In case a pupil desires to return home for a serious reason earlier than the closing time of the school, he/she apply in Writing to the class teacher and get the principal's sanction.
